Ethnic Communications worked closely with Weber Shandwick on a campaign aimed at changing attitudes towards Hepatitis C. We needed to combat the stigma of Hepatitis C in Asian communities and families preventing them from seeking help for the infection.
Our two-fold strategy targeted community influencers through establishing a ‘Community Leaders Advisory Board’. Our members were drawn from faith groups and relevant umbrella agencies and a Media Advisory Board.
We delivered our campaign specifically to the Asian communities, covering Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi and Chinese nationalities, as well as Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and Sikh faiths.
